Situated at Amdo County of Nagqu Prefecture, Geladaindong the main peak of Tangula Shan, is 50 kilometers long from north to south and 20 kilometers wide from west to east, with an area of 670 square kilometers covered by snow and ice, and about 40 modern glaciers distributing around it. Numerous glaciers melt and become brooks, which merge and form to be the original source of Yangtze River. The ice towers scattering around the main peak is spectacular and worthy of visiting.
